# IRL Cam > IRL Cam (In Real Life Camera) is a free iPhone camera app for capturing new photos and videos, checking that they depict a real-life scene, and sharing them with an IRL stamp and verification link. Users capture a new photo or video inside the app. Captures that pass its automated live-capture checks can receive an IRL stamp. The stamp includes a link where viewers can compare the shared media with the published photo or sampled video frames. Published media is available for up to 30 days. IRL Cam can help people share evidence of their creative work, everyday experiences, or items they are showing to others. It is not a tool for uploading arbitrary existing images to determine whether they were AI-generated. A successful check means the capture passed the app's automated checks. It does not independently establish a person's identity, an item's condition or authenticity, the truth of a claim, or whether an event was staged. Verification is not a guarantee against manipulation or misrepresentation. The App Store listing provides current availability, compatibility and version details. Individual users' verification pages are outside the public information covered by this file. ## Product - [Homepage and FAQ](https://irl.cam/): How the app works, use cases and frequently asked questions. - [Download IRL Cam](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/irl-cam-real-life-camera/id6820265308?pt=129389310&ct=website&mt=8): Official iPhone App Store listing. ## Support and policies - [Support](https://irl.cam/support): Help with the app and service. - [Feedback](https://irl.cam/feedback): Share feedback with the team. - [Privacy policy](https://irl.cam/privacy): Data collection, publishing and analytics practices. - [Terms of service](https://irl.cam/terms): Verification limitations and terms of use.
